The governors were selected to represent the six geo-political zones in the country and were led by the chairman of the Nigeria Governors Forum, Governor AbdulAziz Yari of Zamfara.

Others are Dave Umahi (Ebonyi), Umar Ganduje (Kano), Kashim Shettima (Borno), Samuel Ortom (Benue), Udom Emmanuel (Akwa Ibom) and Abiola Ajimobi (Oyo).

There has been concern about the health status of the president since he left the country more than 60 days for medical treatment in the UK.

Some critics had described the president’s picture taken with leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as fake and this new visit from governors selected from the ruling party and the opposition Peoples Democratic Party may help confirm his true status.

Sincerely, we are glad to see these pictures. The pictures are more convincing than the first. At least it will mellow the tension in the land, but I still wonder why it took so long to let Nigerians know his whereabouts. As we await his return with high hopes, we hope he has changed and ready to listen to the yearnings of the people on certain issues including the faulty political structure of the country etc.
