Dear Learned Silk, Bencher, Distinguished Colleague,
Pursuant to the “Notice of Amendment of the Constitution of the Nigerian Bar Association 2015 (as amended in 2021)” by Chairmen of Branches dated 11th June, 2022 and received at the NBA Secretariat on 14th June, 2022 in compliance with secttion 25(1) of the Constitution of the Nigerian Bar Association 2015 (as amended in 2021), I hereby give you notice of proposed amendment to the Constitution of the Nigerian Bar Association 2015 as amended and adopted at the Annual General Meeting held in Port Harcourt on 28th October, 2021. The proposed amendment is he attached to this Notice (proposed amendments are highlighted in red).
TAKE NOTICE that the motion for the proposed Amendment which seeks to amend the Constitution of the Nigerian Bar Association 2015, amended and adopted at the Annual General Meeting of the NBA held in Port Harcourt on 28th October, 2021, shall be heard on Thursday 25th August, 2022 during the Annual General Meeting which shall take pace at Eko Atlantic, Victoria Island, Lagos State at 12:00 noon.
TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that only the financial members in good standing and in
attendance during the Annual General Meeting shall be entitled to vote.
