I have read the write up of Olasupo Ojo Esq warning the Leaders of the Nigerian Bar Association, NBA, to stop their rascality and bow to the authority of the Body of Benchers Chairman, Chief Wole Olanipekun SAN and wonder the basis of his warning .
To every high minded person, the NBA is not in any way disrespectful to Chief Olanipekun by requesting that he recuse himself from the Chairman Office of Body of Benchers, pending the investigation of a professional misconduct charge against his firm and Partner Kunbi Ogunde but only acting in good faith and in the spirit of the promotion and protection of the rule of law . It is with all sense of responsibility based on the above premise that I am saying that It is reckless and irresponsible of Olasupo to warn NBA for discharging it’s duties and obligations to the legal profession and Nigeria at large .
The fact that the BOB Chairman is not subject to NBA and NBA is subject to him as Chairman does make the Chairman BOB above the law and not to be accountable , transparent and impartial .

Olasupo esq should speak for himself and stop being deluded that majority of Lawyers are not opposed to Chief Olanipekun remaining as BoB Chairman . To this end I advise him to read my write up on the professional misconduct saga and that of many other high minded members of the legal profession particularly those of group of Senior Advocates of Nigeria under the auspices of the Justice Reform Project (JRP) and the Forum of 20 Foremost Senior Advocates of Nigeria
As regards to the raising of a motion for the removal of BOB Chairman at the next BOB meeting, we are watching and cannot cross the bridge until we get there . In the interim Olasupo must stop throwing tantrums .
