The National Leadership of the Nigerian Bar Association has commended the Chief Judge of Edo State My Lord ,the Hon Justice Esther Amenaghanwon Edigin FICMC,FNarb., for My Lord’s truthful and bold stance on the issue of full Financial Autonomy for the Judiciary in Nigeria .
The 1st Vice President of the Nigerian Bar Association ,Aikpokpo Martins Esq., made this indication in his closing remarks at the Young Lawyers’ Section of Nigerian Bar Association,Benin Branch -the Lion Bar’s 2021 Law Week held at the Civic Centre ,opposite the EFCC Office ,Benin City .
The NBA National Official stated the Chief Judge of Edo State spoke with boldness and truth in calling for full financial autonomy for the Judiciary in Nigeria stating that if all jurists in Nigeria spoke that way the Judiciary will be truly financially autonomous .
