NBA Lagos Branch Members in Upbeat Mood Ahead Annual Law Week

As expected, the much anticipated NBA Lagos Branch Law Week events will hold from June 15 to June 21, 2019 at the highbrow City Hall in the nation’s commercial nerve-center, under the theme ‘Law and Development in an Emerging Economy’.

This year’s event will attract scores of young wigs and their senior counterparts, as members in large number queue to register at the branch secretariat.

The Annual Law Week will open on Saturday, June 15, 2019 with the Health Walk and a session of aerobics. On Monday, June 17, and Tuesday, June 18, members of the Law Week Committee, Branch Executives and other lawyers will visit the Ikoyi and Kirikiri prisons in Lagos – an activity which will feature a Legal Clinic for the inmates, as well as the presentation of various gifts.

Other activities also include health checks for branch members at the foyer of the Lagos High Court on the 19th of June, the Welcome Cocktail would be at the same venue, while the Closing Party, which of course is the ‘Icing on the Cake,’ will bring down the curtain on the 2019 Law Week.

The Law Week Planning Committee has outlined a rich and diverse cast of A-list speakers for this year’s event to tackle series of  burning topics lined up for the Plenary Sessions on Thursday June 20th and Friday June 21st.

  • 1 – 7 years: N3,500
  • 8 – 15 years: N5,000
  • 16 – 19 years is 10,000
  • 20 years and above is N15,000
  • SANs and Benchers N25,000
