Monday Ubani eulogises Ikwuano People For Supporting Otti Urges those defeated by Labour Party candidates to shun Litigations

The Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association Section of Public Interest and Development Law (NBA-SPIDEL), Barr. (Dr.) Monday Ubani has expressed profound gratitude to the people of Ikwuano Local Government Area of Abia State, for unalloyedly supporting the newly elected Governor, Dr. Alex Otti, in the March 18 gubernatorial election.

The renowned Human Rights Lawyer described Otti’s emergence as apt, saying it is God’s appointed time to liberate Abians from a protracted subjugation and deprivations, as suffered in the hands of past and present administrations since the emergence of democracy.

“I appreciate your commitment towards ensuring that Dr. Alex Otti emerged winner of the just concluded gubernatorial election.

“Otti had visited us in Ikwuano and we promised him our bulk votes and we finally did. Today, he is the Governor-elect. I want to commend each and everyone of us in Ikwuano who supported this vision of Alex to liberate Abia State. And I can assure you that he will not dash our hope.

In a statement issued to the Media, today, Sunday, March 26, the proud son of Ikwuano who could scarcely contain his overwhelming joy over the envisaged restoration of the long lost dignity and glory of the State, enjoined Abians to remain nonstop in their celebration mood, saying that “light has finally been restored to the State and even the birds of the air are not left out in this moment of jubilations in Abia.

“I am hopeful that Dr Alex Otti will not fail us here in Ikwuano and other parts of Abia State”, he reiterated.

Adding, he said: “And I want to immensely congratulate our prospective Governor for the strength of a true man he had displayed by not allowing the mandate of the people to him to be subverted. Indeed, he’s a Hero”, he affirmed.
