I received the news of the departure from this mortal plane of a foremost elder of the Nigerian Bar Association, Afikpo Branch, Chief (Barrister) Benedict Ogbonnia Iguh, with a deep sense of loss. Chief Iguh, who until his passing was the Head of Chidinma Chambers in Afikpo, was a man and a lawyer of no mean calibre. Although he passed on at the ripe age of 85, his death nevertheless leaves a void in the lives of those he impacted which will be difficult to fill. Until his death, Chief B. O. Iguh was a complete gentleman of the Rock Bar and was always in good standing among his learned colleagues. I humbly implore his immediate and extended family, the members of the Rock Bar, as well as associates and well-wishers of the deceased to accept my sincere condolences, and I pray that the Almighty God will grant his gentle soul eternal rest. Amen.
