Speaking with Ms Agi on the contents of the Book, she revealed that the text was written to provide lawyers with the most basic information about the laws regulating outer space so as to ignite their interest in the sector. She expressed worry that there was very little interest shown by the legal community in that field and as such she hoped that her book will ignite the interest of legal minds to space law.
A perusal of the book reveals that it provides a clear overview of the legal aspects of a wide range of current and evolving space activities and discusses space laws, space law sources, the latest developments, and challenges affecting international space law. It also covers a wide range of issues including a thorough analysis of space policies which will provide even knowledgeable readers, with new perspectives.
For lawyers, legislators, scholars, students, professionals and judges, this publication offers a succinct yet thorough reference.
Seasoned readers will gain new insight. Even non-lawyer space enthusiasts will leave with broader knowledge of space law!
Ms Anne Agi invites distinguished senior advocates, learned senior and all colleagues to the launch.
Ms Agi is a law lecturer at the University of Calabar, a Synergy Partner & Head, Space Law Unit, Olisa Agbakoba Legal (OAL) and President/Trustee/Co-founder, Learnspace Foundation, a space awareness based NGO.
