Dear Mrs Hauwa Abubakar,

Hon Attorney General,

Borno State.

It is with a heavy heart that I extend my deepest sympathy to the people of Maiduguri, Borno State, who have been tragically affected by the recent devastating flood. To those who have lost loved ones, homes, and livelihoods, my thoughts are with you during this incredibly difficult time. The strength and resilience shown by the community of Maiduguri in the face of this tragedy is truly inspiring.

I urge everyone—individuals, organizations, and governments—to unite in supporting both immediate relief efforts and long-term solutions to prevent future disasters. Maiduguri will rebuild and rise stronger, and my prayers are with all those impacted.

With deepest sympathy,

L.O AKANGBE, SAN.
