Security operatives on Saturday allegedly arrested the council chairman of Igalamela Local Government Area of Kogi State, James Onoja, for possession of ammunition and lots of cash.

In a viral video, both the council chairman and his gang were seen expressing regrets and pleading for forgiveness.

elections so far have been marred with several allegations of vote-buying amidst low voter turnout.
