Minister of Defence Mohammed Badaru Abubakar has toured selected drone manufacturing companies in China.
The tour according to a statement, was at the instance of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s official visit to the Peoples Republic of China in which the Defence minister was part of the entourage.
In the statement released by the Special Assistant to Minister on media and Communication Mr Mati Ali the visit by the minister to drone manufacturing companies was to allow him see the facilities that would further enhance DICON’s capability in the production of Military equipment and hardware in Nigeria.
“The purpose of the tour was to afford the Minister the opportunity of seeing the facilities of the companies that will further boost DICON’S capabilities in the production of Military Equipment and Hardware in Nigeria”. Says the statement.
