The kidnappers have reportedly demanded the sum of N50 million as ransom. The abductors who contacted the family of the victims, initially demanded N100 million but later reduced it to N50 million, Daily Trust newspaper quoted a source to have said. The development comes weeks after one person was killed in a gun battle between the anti-kidnapping squad of the FCT command and some suspected kidnappers along Kabi Mangoro axis.
