Illegal Arms: Dasuki Fails to Stop Trial
An application by former National Security Adviser, retired Col. Sambo Dasuki to stay trial in the illegal arms and money laundering case before a Federal High Court in Abuja has been refused.

Dasuki had through his counsel, Ahmed Raji (SAN) sought to adjourn the trial pending the outcome of the appeal before the Court of Appeal in Abuja challenging the court’s ruling allowing witnesses in the trial to be shielded.
Justice Ahmed Mohammed ruled on Wednesday that the application breached the provisions of Section 306 of the Administration of Criminal Justice Act, 2015.
