In yet another significant development for the upcoming Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) presidential election, Egeonu Gloria Ngozi, a prominent figure in the Lagos legal community, has officially endorsed Tobenna Erojikwe for the position of NBA President.

Egeonu, the Principal Partner at A&G Chambers and former Social Secretary of the NBA Lagos Branch, brings a wealth of experience and influence to her endorsement. Her past roles, including serving as the Dinner Chairman for the Surulere Lawyers Forum, underscore her deep involvement in the affairs of the legal community.

In her endorsement statement, Ngozi Egeonu highlighted Erojikwe’s track record of service and leadership within the NBA. “Having closely observed Tobenna’s contributions to our profession, particularly his transformative work with the NBA Institute of Continuing Legal Education, I am convinced he is the right candidate to lead our association,” Egeonu stated.

She emphasized Erojikwe’s commitment to professional development, noting, “Tobenna’s dedication to enhancing the skills and knowledge of lawyers across Nigeria, regardless of their career stage or location, is exactly what the NBA needs at this crucial time.”

Ngozi Egeonu also praised Erojikwe’s inclusive leadership style, stating, “His ability to bring together diverse groups within our profession and create opportunities for young lawyers is commendable. This approach is essential for the unity and growth of the NBA.”

The endorsement touched on Erojikwe’s vision for the NBA, with Ngozi Egeonu expressing confidence in his ability to address the challenges facing the legal profession in Nigeria. “Tobenna has demonstrated a clear understanding of the issues we face and has concrete plans to address them. His forward-thinking approach is what will propel the NBA into a new era of relevance and effectiveness,” she added.

As a respected voice in the Lagos legal community, Ngozi Egeonu’s endorsement is expected to carry significant weight, particularly among lawyers in Lagos State, which represents a substantial voting bloc in the NBA elections.

Concluding her endorsement, Ngozi Egeonu called on her colleagues to support Erojikwe’s candidacy: “I urge all members of our noble profession to consider the future of the NBA and vote for Tobenna Erojikwe. His leadership is what we need to navigate the complexities of our evolving legal landscape.”
