The family of Mrs. Uju Chukwuma-Okafor, a past Secretary of the Badagry Branch of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) and a one-time aspirant for the position of NBA National Treasurer, has announced the passing into glory of her husband, Hon. Emeka Daniel Okafor.
Popularly known to his teeming admirers as ‘Isi Obi’, the late Hon. Okafor, who passed on at the age of 58, was described by his survivors as a remarkable, unforgettable and irreplaceable personality.
He was laid to rest on Thursday, January 26, 2023 in his hometown of Ebenator-Udah in Orsu LGA in Imo State.

In a statement signed by the deceased’s son, Chikwubuikem Emeka-Okafor and made available to NEWSWIRE Law and Events Magazine, the family has announced a ‘Funeral Outing’ for the departed, which is slated for Sunday, February 12, 2023 with an Outing Service at the Archangel’s Catholic Church in Satellite Town, Lagos from 10.00 am. This will be followed shortly after by a Reception Ceremony at the First Bank Sports Complex, Community Road, by Phamacare Junction, Satellite Town, Lagos.
