#EndSARS: Enugu Judicial Panel Begins Sitting Monday 16th of Nov., Calls for Memoranda
The Judicial Panel of Inquiry set up by Enugu State Governor, Mr. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi to look into cases of alleged police brutality, human rights violations, and extra-judicial killings by the operatives of the disbanded Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) in Enugu State would begin it sitting on Monday, November 16.
According to a statement issued by the Secretary of the panel, Barr. Onochiengwu Obuna, the sitting will hold at the High Court of Justice (inside Old Court 3), Enugu State Judiciary Headquarters, Independence Layout in Enugu State between the hours of 09:00 am and 4:00 pm to receive testimonies and evidence from victims of police brutality in the State.
“The panel has consequently requested members of the public to submit Memoranda on or before November 20, 2020.
