It was a forum for Participants to learn about the latest advances and research in the stock broking business from experts. There were robust discussions of challenges, networking and sharing of ideas during sessions.
Congratulating all brokers on the 25th anniversary of the institution, CIS President Mr. Oluwaseyi Abe tenets and sustain a culture of transparency for enhanced investor confidence in the ma, assured stockbrokers that the future of their profession remained bright as Nigeria’s capital market had the potential to wax stronger. He urged them to maintain the market.
Formed in 1992, the CIS, he said, was as a prestigious group that was the envy of all, but has since weathered the storms and vicissitudes of the market with resilience and strong mental character in navigating through tough times.
“We have won the trust and confidence of the government and major players in corporate Nigeria,” Abe continued, “as evidenced by the national workshop, presidential investiture, and now the Honorary Fellowship Awards, which our institute bestowed on some eminent Nigerians. We have every reason to raise our heads high as members of this great institute.”
The event was graced by Top Nigerian business personalities.
