She said the agency with the support of Alive and Thrive had embarked on issues of training to enlarge the scope and understanding of the new concept of MICYN. “You know that nutrition has been somehow neglected initially in Bauchi State and Nigeria as a whole. But in view of what is happening now, many organisations are now supporting the issue of nutrition,” she said.
The officer added that a lot had been done and were still being done on nutrition particularly that of the mother, child, newborn and U-5 children.
