The Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria (ARCON) will hold a Town Hall Meeting on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, with the theme “Expanding the Frontier of Media Law.”
The event, scheduled to take place at Sheba Events Centre, Ikeja, Lagos, will bring together leading legal minds, media experts, and advertising professionals for an in-depth conversation on the evolving landscape of media regulation in Nigeria.
Chief Akinlolu Kehinde, SAN, is billed to deliver the keynote address. Other distinguished speakers include Dr. Olalekan Fadolapo, Director-General of ARCON; Mazi Afam Osigwe, SAN, President of the Nigerian Bar Association; Barr. Charles Odenigbo, Director-General of the Centre for Media Law & Development; and Mr. Lanre Adisa, Chairman of HASG.
The session will be co-hosted by Hon. Justice Cecilia M. A. Olatoregun (Rtd), Chairman of AOT, and Ustadh Adam O. Adedimeji, Esq., Chairman of the NBA Lawyers in the Media Forum.
The Town Hall aims to foster collaboration among members of the Bench and Bar, advertising practitioners, and other stakeholders in exploring the crucial intersection of law, media, and advertising in Nigeria’s fast-evolving communication ecosystem.
