Adebola Olarotimi Lema has indicated his desire to serve as the next Chairman, Lagos Branch of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) by obtaining the nomination form from the NBA Lagos Branch Secretariat. This was done in compliance with the call for nominations issued by the Election Committee regarding the forthcoming NBA Lagos Branch elections scheduled to hold on 27th June, 2023.
Adebola Lema, a former Secretary of the Lagos Branch NBA, is widely acclaimed for his genuine humility and consistent people-oriented conduct whether in or out of professional activities. He is also well respected as a bridge builder for his professional connections across several branches of the NBA.
He is the Managing Partner of Fountain Court Partners, a corporate and commercial Law Firm founded since 2006. The Firm provides varied legal services across different areas of law including commercial and civil litigation, arbitration, among others. In the course of his expansive legal career, Adebola Lema has handled instructions for clients across these diverse practice areas in addition to dispute resolution and litigation representation across superior courts in Nigeria.

Adebola Lema’s committed involvement and relationship with the Lagos NBA Branch spans a period of almost two decades having first joined the NBA Lagos Branch as a member in 2004 and thereafter serving the NBA in significant capacities both at the Branch and National Levels. He was the NBA Lagos Branch Secretary from 2014 to 2015.
Among other consistent services and dedication to the NBA in different formal and informal capacities, Adebola Lema also had the honour of serving as a member of the NBA Technical Committee on Conference Planning (TCCP), for the NBA Annual Conference held in 2017.
For his formal education, Adebola Olarotimi Lema holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree from the University of Benin obtained in 2000. He also holds a Master of Laws degree from the University of Lagos. He was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2003. Adebola Lema is a member of the African Consortium of Law and Religious Studies; Nigerian Institute of Advanced Legal Studies; Nigerian Bar Association Section on Business Law as well as the Nigerian Bar Association Section on Legal Practice.
Adebola Lema is also well known to support and participate in activities of diverse groups of lawyers whether within or outside of the NBA Lagos Branch. Such bodies include the Apapa Lawyers Forum, Surulere Lawyers Forum, Eti-Osa Lawyers Forum and so on. He maintains membership of the Egbe Amofin Ni Eko as well as a long time interaction and relationship with the Otu Oka Iwu among many other layers of professional contributions and camaraderie he cultivates and nurtures across board, and to date.
Adebola Lema has indicated that while obtaining the nomination form is a key step toward signifying his desire to serve as the next Chairman of the NBA Lagos Branch, his manifesto and other activities in seeking the support and trust of the esteemed members of the NBA Lagos Branch will be communicated in due course and in compliance with the relevant NBA Lagos Branch 2023 election guidelines.
