A Lagos-based support group of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has sent messages of congratulations to the President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Vice-President-elect, Sen. Kashim Shettima and the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu on their victories in the just-concluded 2023 general elections.
In a statement signed by its President, Yeye Abimbola Jack Oladugba, and made available to NEWSWIRE Law and Events Magazine, the support group (which has been in existence since 2019) said of the President-elect and his deputy, “We have always known you are capable of great things and cannot wait to see all the amazing
things you will do for us in Nigeria.”
The group also expressed it’s confidence in Gov. Sanwo-Olu’s ability to actualize the #GreaterLagosRising mantra that was the slogan of his re-election campaign, describing him as an inspirational figure worthy of his electoral success.
