This followed their alleged involvement in the attack on corps members’ lodge.

Suspected cultists attacked the lodge at Angalabiri, Sagbama, on March 18, robbed corps members and cut off the hand of Julius Luntsi.

The suspects were apprehended by youths of Angalabiri community and handed over to the police.

Ikerewu and Moses were arraigned on a three-count charge of conspiracy contrary to Section 6 (b) and punishable under Section 1(2) (a) of the Robbery and Firearms (Special Provisions) Act, 2004.

When Justice Ebereyin Omukoro read the charges, the suspects pleaded not guilty.

The judge ordered that the suspects be taken from the cell of the State Central Investigation Department to Okaka Prison and adjourned the case till April 16 and 18.
