Adefunke Adeyemi is a Funke is transformative leader, influencer and change agent, positively impacting lives and the business environment through her passion, work and initiative. She was recently honoured as one of the 200 globally Most Influential People of African Descent (MIPAD) in affiliation with the United Nations,
A product of the prestigious University of Cambridge, United Kingdom, she is a lawyer, advocate and aviation expert, focused on bringing value, best practices and international standards to sectors, businesses and government, through a career spanning almost20 years.
She obtained her Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International Commercial Law from University of Cambridge, United Kingdom, read Law at the University of Lagos, Nigeria, both with high honours.
She is currently the Regional Head of Member and External Relations for the International Air Transport Association, advocating for the overall sustainability and growth of the aviation industry, acting as intermediary between airlines, the wider aviation community and the general public. She is responsible for conceptualizing and delivering an ongoing campaign to promote Africa’s socio-economic prospects through enhanced air connectivity across the continent.

Chidi Anyaegbu, MFR, Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Chisco Transport Limited
He began his early education at St. Andrew’s School, Amichi from 1968 – 1974.
Shortly, after his early education he went into rice business. He subsequently followed his master to Lagos to learn the business of motorcycles’ spare parts merchandiser. He started the apprenticeship in 1974, completed his training in 1977, and in the same year started the business investiture of spare parts with just N120: 00 at 28 Denton Street, Ebute Metta, Lagos.
One day as luck would have it, he accompanied a friend to the Wharf, Apapa, Lagos to clear containers loaded with goods, and met a man at the Wharf who gave him a container loads of goods to sell. This is the beginning of his life’s success story. He used the gain from the transaction to become one of the outstanding distributors of Leventis Motors spare parts before he finally diversified into transport business.
Thereafter, he continued his educational pursuits at the then Lagos State Government Evening Program and at the same time committed to his business with zest to becoming a reputable and respected personality in the society. He did not relent on his educational pursuits until he started reading Law at the University of Lagos evening program before he finally decided to face his business squarely.
He further improved himself by attending trainings and several short management and entrepreneurial courses in France, U.S.A, Germany, and United Kingdom.
Chief (Dr.) Chidi Anyaegbu has been honoured with a Doctorate Degree (Honouris Causar) in Business Administration from Pen State University U.S.A; Fellow Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport Nigeria; Business Certificate Award by University of Houston, U.S.A; Fellow Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (International) London; Honourary Senior Fellow by the Institute of Internal Auditors of Nigeria; National Merit Award in Transport by the Internal Auditors of Nigeria, Beacon of Hope by West African Students Union, Award of Excellence for Exemplary Leadership and Integrity by Institute of Internal Auditors of Nigeria and also to mention the Sun man of the Year 2015 by the sun New papers
Chief Chidi Anyaegbu is a philanthropist who has built roads, schools, hospitals for his community in Amichi , Nnewi, Anambra State , Nigeria. He has equally set up a scholarship foundation scheme to provide assistance to hundreds of indigent students thereby using his resources to inspire the academic consciousness of the youths for their future advancement.
A grateful Nigeria conferred on him the National award of the Member of the Federal Republic (MFR).

Towolde GebreMariam, Group CEO, Ethiopian Airlines
Mr. Tewolde GebreMariam is a titan of the aviation industry. As Group CEO of Ethiopian Airlines he presides over the fastest growing and most profitable airline in Africa. He began his career in the Cargo Traffic Handling Department at the company when he joined thirty years ago and rose up the ranks through overseas management, Marketing and Sales to Chief Operating Officer before his appointment as CEO.
Mr. Tewolde is on the board of many of the major Ethiopian state-owned enterprises, he leads Pan-African aviation initiatives and sits, with UN Secretary-General on the High-Level Advisory Group on Sustainable Transport. His airline won 20 awards in 2015 and is recognized as one of the most dependable airlines in the world. His sense of corporate responsibility to society and the environment is impeccable. As part of ET’s CSR Programme, the airline is working with Greener Ethiopia to repopulate the country with trees.
Along with the plethora of awards Ethiopian has won, Mr. Tewolde himself has won African CEO of the Year, Best African Business Leader, The Airline Strategy Award for Regional Leadership the 2015 International Grand Prix Special Award in Milan and the Most Gender Focused CEO Award 2015 by the Leading Women of Africa Group.
He earned his B.A. Degree in Economics from the Addis Ababa University in Ethiopia and his Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the Open University in the United Kingdom.

Kayode Khalidson, Snr. Partner, Infrastructure Delivery International
Kayode Khalidson is the Senior Partner of Infrastructure Delivery International, a firm focused on providing technical advice and support to the delivery of critical infrastructure in Nigeria.
Between 2009 and 2016 he spearheaded the Nigeria Infrastructure Advisory Facility’s (NIAF) transport team. NIAF was an initiative
of the UK’s Department for International Development, established to advise federal and state governments on various transport projects, encompassing policy, planning, drafting transport legislation and implementing private sector participation schemes such as concessions, licensing and franchises. The projects included supporting rail and bus mass transit (BMT) projects in Lagos and Abuja and BMT in Kano and Kaduna, and advising on the concession of the rail sector.
Kayode has a legal background having practiced law for several years with Simmons and Simmons a leading International law firm in London. Subsequently, he worked as a consultant to the Bureau of Public Enterprises (BPE) where he was involved in developing and implementing the BPE’s strategies for the concession of the port and rail sectors.
In addition, Kayode served as BPE Project Manager for the rail concession programme in 2005, and worked extensively with the team on the drafting of the National Transport Policy and the draft rail, ports and road sector bills. The legal reform work involved leading a team in the BPE assigned to liaise with the transport Ministries Department and Agencies to develop the legal and regulatory framework for the reform of the transport sector in Nigeria.
During this period he developed the concept of the single multi-sector regulator, the National Transport Commission. In 2016 and 2017, he was a member of Technical Committees established by the Senate and the House of Representatives to review and update the Railway and National Transport Commission Bills, and a member of the Senate’s Technical Committee to harmonise the National Transport Commission, Ports, Railways, Road and Inland Waterway Bills.

KashimanaTsumba, Senior Associate, Banwo & Ighodalo
Kashimana is a graduate of the University of Lagos (LLB), Nigerian Law School (BL) and University of Southampton, UK (LLM)
Kashimana Tsumba is experienced in handling a wide spectrum of wet and dry shipping matters including Marine Insurance, Collisions, Bills of lading, Charter parties and Ship Arrest.
She previously served as an Intern at the International Maritime Organization (IMO) and as a Visiting Researcher at the Institute of Maritime Law, Southampton, UK.
She is a Contributor to the Shipping and Trade Law Journal under the Lloyds List Group and the Nigerian Institute of Advanced Legal Studies Journal. Kashimana is passionate about Shipping Law and Continuing Professional Development in the Industry.

Ayadamope Agbaje, Business Development, AP Moller Terminals
Ayodamope Agbaje is a Business Development Partner and Inland Business Manager with AP Moller Terminals (APMT), a member of the AP Moller Maersk Group. APMT is a global port developer and operator with 74 Ocean Terminals and 117 Inland Terminals.
As business development partner, Damope has worked on infrastructure investment projects across Africa; focused on inland terminals and complementary infrastructure such as rail. In addition to his business development role, he is also the manager of APMT Kano, an inland terminal located in Kano aimed at bringing port services closer to the north Nigerian hinterland.
A graduate of Economics from Babcock University, he holds a Master’s degree in Financial Economics from University of Leicester. He has also undergone executive education programs at Columbia Business School and University of Stellenbosch Business School
